In Social Studies course, students will develop an understanding of the diverse communities to which they belong. They understand who they are, where they come from, where they belong, and how they contribute to the society in which they live. Students will also explore how colonialism impacted the lives of various communities and individuals. They will also learn about Canadian citizens’ roles and responsibilities, making them responsible people at an early age.
